Cancelation Policy

Because this is a locally owned, boutique size salon cancellations effect me greatly! I understand that sometimes life happens and you need to change your schedule so I kindly ask that you please adhere to the 48 hour cancellation policy should you need to make any changes to you reservation. PLEASE NOTE: Cancellation/reschedule requests made WITHIN the 48 hours of your appt start time will be charged the 50% deposit fee paid. If you reserved multiple services and you arrive late you may forfeit some of your services and still be charged for the time/services as reserved. No shows/No call will be charged the full price of the reservation and possibly blocked from all future reservations.

Please understand that when you forget about or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time. The reservations are confirmed 3 days in advance, you are also reminded 1 day before and again 1hr prior to your reservation start time- because I know how easy it is to forget. Because this time/service is reserved for you PERSONALLY, a cancelation fee will apply.

Reschedule requests processed BEFORE the 48hr cancelation period will be allowed to transfer the already paid deposit 1 TIME to another date/time of your choosing.

A VALID credit card is required to hold your reservation.

Your reservation will be cancelled IF you are:

  • 5 mins late for a 15 mins service.
  • 10mins late for a 30 mins service
  • 15 mins late for a facial treatment

Child Safety Policy

We understand how challenging it is finding time for yourself. We also understand that your "me time" does not always align with your appointments. However our policy strictly prohibits unsupervised children in the salon. In the event you must bring a young child into the salon, please provide proper supervision for them in the form of an additional caretaker. Unfortunately the salon cannot provide childcare services. Also, young children in carriers/ strollers may not be placed near the service areas or held in the lap unless they are receiving services. Running, screaming, or walking around the salon stations are strictly not allowed, as there are cords you can trip on and hot/sharp tools throughout. If you bring a tablet for your children, please also have headphones available. Please remember this is a public space where people come (and pay) to relax. Children under 12 must sit on their bottoms and not spin or pump the salon chai(s). We kindly request ONLY those receiving services be present in the service areas. Children 13 and older capable of sitting quietly and unsupervised, may wait in the provided seating area. If you cannot comply with this policy you may be asked to reschedule. While this policy helps ensure that all guests enjoy a relaxing experience, it was created with your child's safety in mind. Our salon is not child proof. Sharp implements, glass, hot styling tools, chemicals and a busy, congested area make for a potentially dangerous environment for young children. We cannot be held responsible for injuries in our salon as a result of unsupervised children. You will be financially responsible for ANY items and/or property damaged by children attending with you. Please understand that our concern is the safety of your child. We write this notice without the intent of offending and hope that you will aid us in keeping our space a safe environment. Service Guarantee Policy

Although we do not give cash refunds, all services have a limited time guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied, the service you received will be redone at no expense if informed 1-3 days after service is provided at our discretion

Please Notify Us

Before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you have any concerns at all, please let us know. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your service provider immediately. If under a doctor's care, please check with your physician before taking any treatments.

By entering this facility I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE:

SP WAX & SKIN CARE STUDIO (Located within Salons by JC 110 S. Central Avenue Suite 17 Hartsdale, NY 10530) from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me or my children including my traveling to and from this facility.
